What is the difference between drops and capsules?
Format, mostly. Drops let you measure a part-serving, mix it into a drink and taste what you are taking; capsules are quicker and tasteless. Where we make both of a botanical the plant material can differ — our soursop drops use a full-spectrum extract and the capsules use a leaf extract — so check the individual product page.
What do the extract ratios mean?
A 10:1 extract is produced from ten times its own weight in raw plant material, so 300mg of a 10:1 extract represents 3,000mg of plant. A 30:1 is more concentrated again. We publish the ratio and the plant equivalent for every product that has one — a lot of the category does not.
Are the drops alcohol-free?
Yes. Most herbal tinctures use ethanol as the carrier. Ours use vegetable glycerin and purified water instead, which also makes them suitable for anyone avoiding alcohol.
Do any of them contain allergens?
The wormwood, black walnut and clove products contain walnut and are not suitable for anyone with a nut allergy. Allergen information is stated on every product page — check it before ordering.
Are they suitable for vegans?
The capsules are plant-cellulose and the drops are glycerin-based, so yes across the botanical range. The kids' gummies are a separate formulation — check that product page.
Where are they made?
Formulated and manufactured in the UK to GMP standards, with batches tested in an ISO-certified laboratory. Orders are dispatched from the UK.
Can I take more than one at once?
Follow the directions on each label and do not exceed the stated daily amount for any of them. If you take medication, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are under medical supervision, speak to your doctor or pharmacist before combining supplements.
